Melanie and I have been writing down things we have overheard lately. Things that sound interesting. Things that sound particularly interesting when heard outside of the initial conversation or context. Usually just one or two sentences at a time. We weren’t sure how to use the quotes at first: I was thinking initially that i would doodle something, but we decided to use public domain photos instead.

This is the first attempt! Hope you like it.

When my S.O. shaves his head, his neck seems to disappear and he looks like a cagefighter. I don’t know why I’m talking about this.

That would be someone that fights INSIDE of a cage as opposed to actually doing battle with real metal cage I assume?

I kind of hope I am wrong because the second one sounds more fun to watch.

Upon reflection, this could just describe one person who just ends up fighting Nicolas Cage often enough to garner “Cage-Fighter” as a moniker.

how about someone who fights Nicolas Cage inside of a Cage. Would that be a Cage Cage Fighter? What if the fighter was in a cage, fighting Nicolas Cage (like through the bars), inside of a cage?

    Caged Cage Cage Fighter.

These cage jokes doing anything for you?
